Warmth and Consistency

Timing is Key for Capturing the Perfect Shot!

Consistency in timing is crucial for achieving the warm, vibrant images that my clients desire. The sun's position can either enhance or detract from your photos. The midday sun tends to work against you, while the hour before sunset, known as the golden hour, presents the most challenging yet rewarding lighting. This period offers a beautiful glow on the skin because the sunlight hits at an angle, similar to a frontal light source, eliminating unflattering shadows under the eyes, nose, and chin. Unlike overhead lighting or midday light that casts harsh shadows, the light during sunset softens these shadows, creating a gentle, flattering glow.

Shooting at the same time of day maintains consistent lighting and color tones in photography, creating a uniform style across galleries. Consistency is crucial to provide my clients with a predictable and reliable result, ensuring images match in style and tone for a cohesive look.
